 • Strategic Management Workshop This course provides an organization with the tools needed to implement a strategic management process focused on setting strategy and tactics to achieve a future oriented goal. Participants learn how to define their organization's unique vision, core values and purpose. A Strategy Mapping model is used to reach agreement on key priorities and initiatives needed to achieve the defined goal and attendees are instructed on how to use a Balanced Scorecard to track performance against defined targets. Elements of Project Management and Change Management are also introduced to provide a process for the actual strategic management process implementation. FOR MASSACHUSETTS BASED COMPANIES: If your company has 50 or fewer employees, you are eligible for a refund of 50% of the tuition for this workshop, through the Express Grant program offered by the State of Massachusetts through its Workforce Training Fund program. • Substitutions/Cancellations Policy Substitutions are accepted at any time. To obtain a refund of your registration fee (minus a $150 processing fee), you must notify The Markens Group and receive a notification of confirmation at least thirty days before the workshop begins. Between fifteen and twenty-nine days before the workshop, the processing fee is $500. Within two weeks of the workshop, no refunds are offered. • Dispute Resolution Ben Markens, our managing principal and lead teacher, is available to consider any dispute or other issue. Our general philosophy is "whatever's fair", and he will work with you to achieve a mutually agreeable solution. From our firm's point of view, he has complete and sole discretion to resolve any issue. |
